Here and There
Every once in a while I get a picture that is sharp enough that it might be of interest to others. I have set up an album in Picassa called "Here and There". The pictures are better than the name - and that is the point.

Bacon Bomb
In spite of its name, this is more a meat loaf, but a whole lot more than just a meat loaf. This was a great, cold winter evening project. I look forward to actually cooking one of these on the grill.
I made a time lapse movie of one circuit around the Capitol Beltway, I-495, on New Year's Day 2009. It is a 64 mile trip, the movie runs just under 4 minutes - so this is like completing the trip at just over 1000 miles per hour.
